«Water for Elephants» by Sara Gruen is a story about Jacob Jankowski, a student vet at a prestigious University who, after the tragic death of their parents to trade their regular lives for stray and cling to a traveling circus as a vet, where he fully learned how much a pound is dashing. Of course, nothing happened in this story and without love, with unreal intensity.
Because usually a love triangle and so itself constitutes an explosive mixture, and if you add a paranoid schizophrenic, he will already be steeper than a nuclear explosion. In the novel the story is on behalf of the main character reminiscing about his life as a 93-year-old (or 90 years, according to Sam Jacob, there’s no difference) a man, living in a boarding house for the elderly.
Good book. Interesting. Permeated with an indescribable atmosphere of a circus and the atmosphere of America since the “dry” law.
