The first was «Hannibal Rising» about the childhood and adolescence of the former Lithuanian aristocrat Hannibal from age 6 to 20 years. Following the fifth and final Harris novel will continue the story of the student years of the future doctor.

Well, his contract, Thomas has exactly half. Although by themselves previous books – «Red dragon», «The Silence of the Lambs» and «Hannibal» – this is, in fact, the rise of Dr. Lecter from supporting actor to the main character of the novel. Moreover, against the background of hard work of FBI agents and conflicts between bad bosses and good operas. But now there is a completed tetralogy. On the other hand, a new book, «Hannibal Rising» can be considered quite an independent work.

This book is personal, biographical, youthful memories with sometimes strange thoughts. To wait from it for something else would be a futile disappointment. In 2007 time out the same name the film is directed by Peter Webber, with a wonderful cast. Of course, the screenplay was written by Thomas Harris – otherwise, why he wrote this book?
