The Son by Jo Nesbo

The book «The Son» by Jo Nesbo is an unusual story about violence, revenge, redemption and morality. The characters described in best “pained paints” that are comparable in scale with Shakespeare, where every choice was tragic. The story flows slowly, but it’s not a bad thing.

The story gradually begins to gain momentum and it’s very good. Unlike most detectives, where the whole plot focuses on the mystery, the Son is quite cleverly implemented in the lives of the characters, and we can look at what makes the Son through the eyes of other people.
