Description:
The novel «Crying for the Moon» – the story of a peasant from the Japanese post-war village. Four decades of his life. Love and disappointment, family problems – all this in the scenery of the four seasons, life with the taste of sour apples.

The first love in ten years, marrying another woman, the purchase of a TV. Killing another human being as non – secret. Killed, buried, no investigation, people feel unnecessary. But vanity is not alien to them – young people from the village went, but the hero need to watch the Apple trees, listen to the monks and to bury loved ones.

This story is a bit like the book «The Tristanakkord» by Hans-Ulrich Treichel, but if a German author is European existentialism, a massive tragedy, his Japanese counterpart drew attention to the harmony between man and nature. The hero of the story tries to stay on edge and keep anything from the last four screens, music, harmony.
